Social Responsibility

Enprode undertakes social responsibility projects in countries where it has ongoing economic activities.

The objective is to contribute to the development and elevation of the social environment and help to enhance the social fabric of the neighborhood where the planned project is to take economic roots.

University Scholarship for Bosnia Herzegovina Students

Enprode believes in a bright future for all capable students.

Therefore Enprode has established an Engineering Scholarship Fund for economically under privileged but diligent, active and successful students irrespective of their ethnic background, race or religion.

Five college students attending Mostar University were granted the Enprode Engineering Scholarship award based on their merits and economic needs.

Social Awareness and Rehabilitation Program for the Youth of Bosnia Herzegovina

In another social responsibility project, Enprode helped the local Tomislavgrad Municipality to establish an educational social awareness and rehabilitation program for youth alcohol and drug abuse and addiction.

The program was funded by Enprode and is successfully continuing.

Water Desalination Plant for Port Sudan

To partially meet the daily potable water needs of Port Sudan residents Enprode will build a desalination plant in Port Sudan as part of its commitments in Sudan and its social responsibility to local residents.

Enprode has agreed the technical and structural aspects of the desalination plant with the Port Sudan Municipality and other Central Government officials. The plant will desalinate 80 tons per hour of sea water into fresh water which will be injected into the city’s water distribution pipeline network.

The entire cost, design, development and transfer of the plant to the Municipality will be assumed by Enprode, Sudan.
