MASPO Energy AS is an Independent Power Producer and has a Geothermal Power Plant in operation in Turkey. The Project, MASPO ALA-2 Geothermal Power Plant aims to develop, build and commercially start-up a Binary Cycle Geothermal Power Plant.
The Plant is located in Alaşehir, 100 km east of Izmir and 75 km southeast of Manisa in the Aegean Region of Turkey.
The power generation of the plant is provided by Binary Turbine-Generator, Air Cooled Condenser (ACC), Step-up Power Transformer(s), 154 kV Air Insulated Switchyard (AIS) and 154 kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL).
The common structures, associated equipment auxiliary services and underground facilities are designed and built in a manner to comply with the laws and relevant legislation of Turkish and/or in accordance with the latest techniques and international standards applicable for the power generation industry.

The plant is designed and configured to achieve the utmost possible output efficiency in compliance with all environmental requirements.
All the other associated equipment, ancillaries and auxiliary systems are complementary for obtaining maximum Reliable, Available and Maintainable Operation.
